Keelboat Level 1 - Start Sailing Introduction to the sport of sailing. Covers all you need to know to get afloat under supervision.
Suggested minimum pre-course experience:	None
Assumed knowledge:	None.
Course content:	How to sail in all directions, including an awareness of launching and recovery.
Ability after course:	Able to sail in light winds under supervision.
Minimum duration:	2 days.

Keelboat Level 2 - Basic Skills This course sets out the foundations of sailing for you. By the end of it you'll be a competent light wind sailor
Suggested minimum pre-course experience:	None
Assumed knowledge:	Knowledge to Level 1 standard
Course content:	Often combined with Level 1 into a 4 or 5 day course. Rigging, launching, sailing in all directions. Capsize recovery and essential safety background
Ability after course:	Able to sail and make decisions in good conditions
Minimum duration:	2 days.

Keelboat Seamanship Skills How to handle a boat in all circumstances and solve problems afloat
Suggested minimum pre-course experience:	None
Assumed knowledge:	Knowledge to Level 2 standard
Course content:	Training includes: launching and recovering the boat in different circumstances, stopping, reducing sail, recovering man overboard, anchoring.
Ability after course:	Able to handle a wide range of situations afloat
Minimum duration:	2 days.

Keelboat Day Sailing Passage planning and decision making for small boat cruising.
Suggested minimum pre-course experience:	None
Assumed knowledge:	Skills and background to at least Level 2 standard.
Course content:	Preparing and planning for a day cruise. Pilotage and decision making including adverse conditions.
Ability after course:	Able to plan and execute a cruise, depending on conditions.
Minimum duration:	2 days.

Keelboat Sailing with Spinnakers Everything you need to know about sailing with a kite whether conventional or asymmetric
Suggested minimum pre-course experience:	None
Assumed knowledge:	Knowledge to Level 2 standard
Course content:	How to rig the boat, gybe and recover one type of spinnaker, either conventional or asymmetric. How to sail the best possible course downwind
Ability after course:	Able to use one type of spinnaker, conventional or asymmetric
Minimum duration:	2 days.

Keelboat Start Racing Having learnt to sail you may wish to start racing and join a club. This course takes you through the fundamentals of getting off the start line and round the course
Suggested minimum pre-course experience:	None
Assumed knowledge:	Minimum Level 2 standard
Course content:	All the skills required to enjoy club racing including how to maximise boat speed and how to outwit your opponents
Ability after course:	Able to take part in club racing in good conditions (depending on experience)
Minimum duration:	2 days.
